Casey on Driving Growth with 10 years of Tech Sales Experience

- February 1, 2025
With over a decade of experience in tech sales, Casey brings both strategic insight and client-centric thinking to his role as Business Development Manager, APAC at Neurones IT Asia. He plays a key role in helping clients navigate complex needs while ensuring alignment between talent and business goals.
In this feature, he shares what drives him, and how he approaches relationship building, and what it takes to thrive in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
What do clients value most when working with a tech partner like Neurones IT Asia?
What clients really value when working with Neurones IT Asia is how easy and dependable the partnership feels. They know we’re upfront and honest—no overpromising, just clear communication and real expectations. They also appreciate how quickly we move when they need support, and how flexible we are when things shift. But what stands out most is that we genuinely try to make their lives easier—by taking ownership, reducing stress, and being there even outside the project scope. It’s that mix of reliability, speed, and a personal touch that really builds trust over time.
You also support recruitment efforts for consultants—so, what do you look for in a strong candidate, and how do you match them to the right client?
A strong consultant doesn’t just list relevant experience—they connect the dots to show why they’re the right fit for the client’s unique needs by demonstrating impact in previous roles and how that translates into value. While the application highlights matching technical expertise, the interview is where warmth, initiative, ownership, and a clear, optimistic point of view come through—showing not just what they’ve done, but who they are and how they’ll make a difference.
What is your take on the company culture at NITA, and how has it supported your work/personal growth?
At Neurones IT, the corporate culture is dynamic, collaborative, and people-focused. I appreciate how agile the team is—decisions are made quickly, and everyone is empowered to take ownership. It’s easy to reach out for support, and colleagues are always willing to help, which creates a strong sense of teamwork. Employee engagement is also a key part of the culture, with initiatives like sports and wellness activities that foster connection and balance beyond the workplace.
