Behind the Scenes with Renitta

- January 8, 2024
Meet Renitta, our Operations Delivery Manager at Neurones IT Asia, who oversees project delivery and ensures everything runs smoothly throughout each project. In our conversation, we uncover her day-to-day challenges, how she manages her team and clients, and what keeps her motivated.
Can you tell us about your role as Operations Delivery Manager and what a typical day looks like for you?
As the Operations Delivery Manager, I oversee the end-to-end delivery of our managed services, ensuring that my team consistently meets SLAs and KPIs while continuously optimizing processes for greater efficiency and client satisfaction. I work closely with the sales team to understand current business priorities and customer needs, helping to prioritize service delivery and allocate resources where they’re most critical. As the main point of contact for clients, I handle escalations, coordinate swift resolutions, and lead long-term improvements through root-cause analysis.
I like to start my day with a clear game plan—reviewing emails, mapping out priorities, and planning for the next day to stay ahead of the curve. I usually jump into tackling any pending issues from customers, the team, or other departments to keep things running smoothly. Meetings are a big part of my day, whether it’s brainstorming for new projects or syncing with customers on ongoing collaborations. Of course, urgent issues pop up here and there, so I’m always ready to analyze the problem and respond quickly while staying connected with everyone on Teams. No two days are ever the same, and that’s what makes the role exciting and rewarding.
How do you manage and coordinate your team, especially with many members based remotely in India?
Managing a remote team means being clear, organized, and building trust. With my team in India, I ensure clear priorities and task delegations are consistently communicated, while progress is tracked through weekly team reviews. Tools like Microsoft Teams and dashboards provide a real-time, centralized view of all client activities. Open and honest communication is always prioritized, making sure every team member feels heard and valued, even from miles away. This balance of structure and connection ensures the team stays aligned and engaged.
How has your experience working at Neurones IT Asia, especially in terms of company culture and team dynamics?
Working in Neurones IT Asia has been such a fulfilling journey. I’ve had the opportunity to learn about French culture within a Singaporean context, which has given me a broader global perspective while still feeling connected to local values. The company’s culture is inclusive and welcoming, with a flat hierarchy that makes collaboration effortless and encourages open dialogue with management. I love that it’s easy to propose ideas and suggestions and see them come to life, which makes you feel like you’re truly contributing to something bigger!
What’s your go-to way to start the day?
By hitting snooze just enough times to feel rebellious, then pretending that teh siu dai is my personality trait. My morning routine basically involves negotiating with my alarm clock, stumbling to office like a zombie, and sipping on teh as if it’s liquid motivation (which it is). I basically start my day in ‘buffering mode’ waiting for the caffeine to load my brain like a software update!
